Abby’s work is designed to embody spontaneity of form, print, and texture, deriving from a fascination with the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi. Delicate textile fragments are encapsulated within resin as hand embroidery contrasts against digital processes and print techniques. Each casting acts as a singular, broken element, but when placed strategically in repeat can be given new significance; transfiguring in the presence of a viewer.

Abby recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class (BA Hons) degree in Textile Design. She continues to develop her practice, creating revolutionary and contemporary design resolutions through the combination of Textiles and resin.
